Good
All of the properties on the island are Older and I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area. This hotel ranks in my opinion an overall 7 for not keeping up on maintenance. The staff seems new and confused. I waited longer than expected for a table. The views are great.

Good
Excellent location. Beautiful room very clean. Excellent breakfast included. Tremendous views
We were upgraded to a suite which was good size and beautiful. Only problem is it was next to a smoke stack that released large amounts of black sickening smoke. We notified the front desk but it continued our 3 day stay. The patio was large but useless. I’m sure that’s why we were upgraded but technically downgraded. At checkout we discussed the situation with the same front desk clerk and would not extend any courtesy for the inconvenience.

Overall good
The location was amazing. The view from the hotel was breath taking. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. It was abundant and offered a huge selection of breakfast foods. The staff was polite and attentive. The pool was great, plenty of seating and lounging places throughout the hotel.
The food at the restaurant was tasteless and expensive. The dishes offered were pretentious and some of the worst I have ever had, and I am a world traveler. I would have given this hotel a much higher rating had it not been for the dishes prepared by the chef.
